East Auckland has an abundance of "Desirable Suburbs" from the prestigious Bucklands Beach, Rural Whitford, Beachlands and Maraetai. Stroll along one of the many beaches or launch the boat from one of the many public boat ramps that are available. Some of the finest golf courses are on offer, such as "Whitford Park" and the World-class "Formosa Golf Club" over by Pine Harbour.
